The City is one of the safest large business districts. Keeping it that way and making improvements is an important focus of my work. The City Police are also the lead force for the United Kingdom in the efforts to reduce fraud. I have contributed to both areas on the following committees:

• Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting and Analysis Service Procurement Committee

• Resource, Risk & Estates (Police) Committee

Recently, I was chosen to serve on the Police Authority Board as an external member. I will continue my focus on ensuring strong finances so that the Police can continue to provide an exemplary service. 

Principal Accomplishments

• Ensuring the Police have a viable and effective budget

• Ensuring delivery of the new Fraud and Cybercrime Reporting and Analysis System. I applied my background as a technology lawyer to assist in structuring an effective and deliverable project. The service has gone live and is delivering significant improvements.
