Strong evidence shows that people want to work in areas that have a vibrant culture. I have worked to improve the City’s cultural offer by working on the following:

• Barbican Centre Board

• Board of Governors of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama

• People, Culture & Inclusion Committee of the Barbican Centre Board

• Finance and Risk Committee of the Barbican Centre Board

Principal Accomplishments

• Improving the culture of the Barbican Centre

• Developing a plan for renewal of the Barbican Arts Centre that can be funded and delivered

• Ensuring the financial viability of the Guildhall School, the number one rated conservatoire in the UK
